In 1992, from the Grand Bahama Amusement Arcade on Queens's Highway to the Royal Oasis Resort & Casino, the Grand bahama VNEA under Charter Holder Grand Bahama Distributors Ltd. (Mr. Paul Sands), hosted their 10th., Annual International Shoot-Out, on October 3rd. to the 6th., 2002.

Players and guests were hosted to a reception sponsored by the Royal Oasis Casino on Thursday night, this allowed players to renew friendships. Teams competeing, where from Canada, Spain and American States (Florida, North & South Carolina, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania) and the Bahamas.

The tournament started on Friday morning with the Women's and men's Single Tournament. There were 61 Women players and 180 Men players, with the following winners.

Women's Single
Champion: Terrie Kelly, from Florida
Runner Up: Amy Roche, from Florida
Men's Single
Champion: Gregg Andler, from Wisconsin
Runner Up: Kevin Plowman, from Canada

Saturday morning was the start of Team tournament, there were 53 Open Teams and 13 Women Teams. Team Tournament ended on Sunday with the following winners.

A-Diviosion
Champion: Snooker Avengers, from Canada
Runner Up: Intimidators, from Canada

B-Division
Champion: Causing Casulties, from Canada
Runner Up: Big Dogs, from North Carolina

Women's Team
Champion: Frankie, Louie & The Ferrett, from Florida
Runner Up: Bulls Eye, from Wisconsin

There were several people given plaques of appreciation for their contribution to the growth of the Grand Bahama VNEA, for the past 10 years, among them were (Jay Huffman, Carl Swann, Barry Smith and Douglas Sanka - Tournament Director). Special thanks to Grand Bahama Distributors Ltd. Charter Holder, Mr. Paul Sands, Royal Oasis Resort & Casino, Grand Bahama Tourism Board for the trophies and all players and guests, look forward to seeing each of you in 2003. The 11th., Annual International Shoot-Out will be held on October 2nd. to 5th., 2003.
